Luanda, Angola – In a recent interview with Rádio Cinco, Bento dos Santos Kangamba, the President of Kabuscorp do Palanca, expressed his displeasure with the signing of Jacques, a player he claims is still under contract with his team, by 1º de Agosto. Kangamba called out both 1º de Agosto and Petro for signing players on the street, urging the big clubs to be more professional in their player recruitment process.
Kangamba stated that he is not interested in causing controversy, but is concerned with the lack of professionalism in player recruitment. “I do not know how 1º de Agosto registered Jacques, I do not know who spoke with Kabuscorp,” he said during the interview.
The President of Kabuscorp do Palanca promised to notify the management of 1º de Agosto regarding the issue. He emphasized the need for clubs to follow the correct procedures and not poach players from other teams without proper negotiations.
The Angola-Online reports that Kangamba is known for his strong personality and has been involved in many controversies over the years. He is considered one of the most prominent businessmen in Angola and is currently a member of the Central Committee of the MPLA party.
It remains to be seen how this situation will unfold and whether it will lead to any official action. The Angola football season is set to begin in the coming weeks, and the signing of players is expected to continue.
